Fruit flies are small winged insects that are brown in color, with striped bodies and large red eyes. Fruit Flies are usually found in homes where food, such as fruit, is rotting. Fruit flies typically breed in rotting material, as well as items such as dirty dishes, wet mops, and old sponges, which makes them most often found in the kitchen or in a dirty bathroom. They can appear seemingly out of nowhere with the appearance of rotting food. Once the rotting materials has been disposed of, they will also disappear.
